Delete Your Account

Provided by Kydos Health L.L.C., the developer of the KYDOS fitness app.

Deletion is permanent and immediate. Once confirmed, your account, profile, and all associated personal data are removed from our active systems. This action cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your Account

The primary way to delete your account is directly inside the KYDOS app. This is the fastest method and does not require any additional steps from us.

  1. Open the KYDOS app on your device.
  2. Tap your profile icon to open your Profile.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account is deleted immediately.

ALTERNATIVE — EMAIL REQUEST

If you no longer have access to the app, email contact@kydoshealth.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Include the email address associated with your account. We will process the request within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.

What Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems immediately upon confirmation:

Daily health metrics and readiness scores DELETED

Hydration logs DELETED
Strength routines, sessions, and personal records DELETED
Glory Points history and challenge records DELETED
Notification preferences DELETED
Referral records DELETED
Body photos (stored by KYDOS) DELETED — storage blobs removed

What Is Retained

A small amount of de-identified data is retained after deletion for legal compliance and safety accountability. No retained record identifies you.

Data Why it is kept
Consent log timestamp and version ANONYMIZED — your user ID and consent preferences are removed; the timestamp and consent version are retained to demonstrate legal compliance with GDPR Article 5(2). The record no longer identifies you.
Guardian SOS alert log timestamp ANONYMIZED — if you used Guardian SOS, the alert timestamp is retained for safety accountability; your user ID is removed. No phone number is stored in this log.
Encrypted database backups RETAINED UP TO 30 DAYS — KYDOS maintains encrypted daily database backups with a 30-day retention period. Your data is removed from all active systems immediately upon deletion. Backup files that were created before your deletion are automatically purged within 30 days per our backup lifecycle policy.
Apple / Google subscription history THIRD PARTY — subscription transactions are processed by Apple or Google and managed by our subscription processor, RevenueCat. These records are governed by Apple's, Google's, and RevenueCat's own privacy policies. Cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings before or after deleting your KYDOS account.

Data Not Held by KYDOS

Health data stored on your device — in Apple Health or Google Health Connect — is separate from your KYDOS account. Deleting your KYDOS account does not remove data already written to your device's health store. You can manage that data directly from your device's Health settings.
