Kydos Health L.L.C. — how our Guardian SOS text alerts work and how to opt out.
Kydos Health L.L.C. sends one type of text message: Guardian SOS emergency safety alerts. This page describes the program, how users consent to it, and how to opt out.
KYDOS sends an SMS only when a user manually triggers a Guardian SOS alert in the KYDOS app. The message notifies the user's chosen emergency contact (their "guardian") that the user may need help, with a timestamp and, when available, a location link. We send no marketing, promotional, or recurring messages. All messages are transactional and user-initiated — sent only at the moment a user triggers an alert.
Users opt into the Guardian SOS feature inside the KYDOS app and can add, change, or remove their guardian at any time in profile settings. No message is ever sent to a number the user has not designated as their guardian. This messaging consent is collected on its own at the point the phone number is entered — it is separate from acceptance of our Terms or Privacy Policy.

Messages are sent only when a user triggers an SOS. Frequency varies by user and is typically rare; most guardians receive messages infrequently, if ever.
A recipient can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, and HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.
Kydos Health L.L.C. does not sell or share phone numbers with third parties for marketing. A guardian's phone number is used only to deliver the emergency alerts a user triggers. See our Privacy Policy.
